From little things big things grow.
After completing his apprenticeship and his employer exiting the industry, Christian Simpkins was faced with a pivotal decision — seek employment with another company or take the leap and build something of his own.
In September 2001, River City Cabinets was established.
Through hard work, determination, and diligence, the business steadily gained traction and has continued to experience consistent growth ever since. What began as a one-man operation has evolved into a thriving company, built on the confidence and capability of skilled tradesmen, eager and engaged apprentices, and an efficient, friendly team.
Over more than two decades, the journey has presented both challenges and opportunities. From fragile financial markets and the Global Financial Crisis to international trade disruptions, the COVID-19 pandemic, and ongoing product shortages — the adventure has been nothing short of epic.
A key driver of our success has been continuous investment in technology and machinery. In 2007, we made a significant investment in our first CNC, which included advanced drawing software, positioning River City Cabinets at the forefront of modern cabinet manufacturing. With over 25 years of experience, we deliver high-quality commercial joinery, office fit-outs, and custom cabinetry solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
